1. Before invoking any disciplinary sanctions, There must be a reason.
1a. This reason must be stated to either the commissioner or another referee and then referred to the commissioner
2. There is only one reason that a team will get points from not getting a basket and those are palpable unfair acts as defined below
• If a player is pushed during a shot then it will be called as follows "Palpable unfair act - Pushing, Insert Team awarded 2/3 points."
• If a player deliberately trips someone then it will called as follows "Palpable unfair act - Tripping, Insert Team awarded 2/3 points."
3. If a team at any point changes the scoreboard then the player whom commits the act is awarded an on-notice penalty.
4. The scoreboard will only change time or scores if any of the following occur
• A score is made.
• There is a penalty awarded as the clock is on 0.0
(In this instance the player will get their free throws & The clock will be reset to 20 seconds. Once the free throws are taken then the clock is set to the next period except in Period 4.)
• There is an injury (This is the only reason other than me disputing calls which will cause clocks to stop)
• If a team commits an palpable unfair act.
5. I as commissioner reserve the right to: Change scores, Update standings (With regard to the Third Amendment Set: Game Results, Score Changing, Multiple Fouling & Technology) Revoke calls from a referee if I find necessary and make calls if necessary.
6. Necessary shall be considered as the following "If a referee made no call on earlier fouls and now does then the call will be revoked."
7. Following Week Fours incident, A score cannot be changed by me in order to do the following
7a. Make a game enter overtime or shootout.
7b. Make a team be awarded bonus points (BP) on the standings.
8. I also being a referee may make a call if seen as necessary.
9. Ok, I will now change the colour system for fouls. It now works as follows
💚 - (Green foul) - Awarded for minor acts of unsportsmanlike behaviour, 1 free throw awarded.
💚 - (Green foul) - Awarded for minor acts of unsportsmanlike behaviour, 1 free throw awarded.
💛 - (Yellow foul) - Awarded for severe acts of unsportsmanlike behaviour, 2 free throws awarded.
🔴 - (Red foul) - Awarded for major acts of unsportsmanlike behaviour, 3 free throws awarded.
10. Fouls are not awarded to players. However, If staff observe major disobedient acts. They can receive a ⚫️ - (Black foul A) or ✖️(Black foul B), A Black foul A is a send off for 1 period meanwhile a Black foul is an ejection
11. In the hopefully rare situation that due to injury and black fouls a team is bought down to 4 players then the following protocol must be applied.
11a. If 5 players are left and one gets a black foul, Then they MUST remain in the game. With one massive difference, The foul free throw values are doubled.
11b. If due to injury a team is bought to 4 players then the following protocol will be applied
11b(I). The other team must pull one of their players except if 11c occurs
11c. If both teams are bought to 5 players and both teams receive injuries, Then the game will go to 4-on-4
11d. If a team while on 4 players loses another player due to injury, Then the other team must pull one of their players except if 11e occurs.
11e. If both teams receive injuries while playing 4-on-4 the game will proceed to 3-on-3.
11f. If while on 3-on-3 a team receives an injury, Then the game will be declared a non-result.
Updated April 21st to update the Black foul system.
